I've been off work for 11 months and I'm still not recovered from my burnout. Chronic illness & disability makes life so hard. Why is it that those with the hardest lives end up with the highest expectations of ourselves?! I have theories, but that's mostly a rhetorical question.

I have always thought you are amazing! I know you're all the things you listed, AND you're amazing, beautiful, determined, and supportive.

I'm right there with you. I have Fibro along with a lot of other autoimmune issues, and the pain which sometimes makes me cry it hurts so much, even with meds. Those issues and my meds exhaust me so much I have to take a caffeine pill daily just to be able to work. I'm also trying to lose weight - I need to lose 1/2 of my body (I've only lost 59 lbs so far). When I was telling my husband just yesterday how I was so sick of it all and how much it frustrated me to have to have him take care of me, he said "just accept it, I have." That just made it worse. I'm trying to be positive and still have that list of things I want to do - I haven't ditched it quite yet. Thank you for sharing what you are going through.

Hey Shauntih, thanks so much for sharing that with me! You're definitely not alone. It's rough going, and sometimes the good days are few and far between but keep on trying to be positive where you can. It's sweet that your husband is supportive of you. Hope you find some enjoyment this weekend.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and life experiences, Cassie. I feel you. I have Fibromyalgia too and other physical and mental health issues that I won’t go into, it would be too lengthy. And it’s chronic, for life. Just know that I’m taking opiates, liquid concentrate morphine for a quick release, Lyrica for my legs pains(neuropathy back pain result), taking care of my elder parents..and well, here I am. 😊

You’re doing great, my dear. Love to read your posts. Take care.

Sending Love and Light. 🙏🧡🌟
