I think a lot of us had a similar situation last year. Medical issues put me soooo far behind (and continue to hound me) that I barely have any beta/ARC readers. With a series, I should have done way more with this way earlier. I’m not sure how to find readers for book 3 without asking them to read the first two. I can offer a trade of either, or for the all-important review blurb?

I think the further in a series you get, the harder it is right? Because some of the love and knowledge of the world happens before that book. It's never too late though! You can always do review copies of the first books at any stage, right? I did that for one of my older books and it was really affirming (though I am still to get back into book two). This writer gig is hard work at times.

This writer gig is always hard work—like running any small business. When do I actually get to write?✍🏼
